Pedorthists are trained specialists who assess, design, manufacture, fit and modify foot appliances and footwear
for the purposes of alleviating painful or debilitating conditions. To certify as a Canadian Pedorthic Specialist, a
person must have a university degree in the Health field and must have completed at least 6000 hours of training. At Burns
Ortho, our pedorthists are fully trained and certified within the accordance of the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
